Challenge Me! Day 2 – Poetry Day

Something beautiful – orange roses. Unique and colourful, again bringing thoughts of Autumn.

Something creative – yep, here is an attempt at a poem. This went to a darker place than my actual mood at present but still speaks to some part of me.

My body is temple of hurt and exhaustion
Pain radiates
I am weary from grinning and bearing it
My mind is a wonder as is stays the same
While my body weakens
My body is a time bomb
Ticking down to the final minutes
Before it surrenders and ceases to be
