Seasons Change
Autumn has fallen or Fall has autunmed….
Anyway, the best time of the year has started. The sun is still shining but the air is cool.
As I’m sitting here, starting to recover from an illness, I’m feeling the season to come. There is a beaver in a skeleton hoodie, my kitten’s pumpkin themed tunnel (see below) Black Summer on the TV and books, so many books, too many…nah, surrounding me.
This season I want to get back into what I’ve enjoyed about October (because it is the whole month that counts as Halloween), and watch, read, listen, write all the good stuff that comes with the atmosphere of the spooky season. Still a couple of days before October and I’ve started early.
Currently reading All Hallow’s Eve, an Ellen Datlow anthology about Halloween in many different iterations. To get back into a routine and the spirit of Autumn, my take on the stories of the anthology are coming up.
