Can’t believe how quickly time is going, the beginning of February is a blur. Losing a pet is difficult, losing a pet after 9 years and unexpectedly is heartbreaking. Working at home, my girl was a constant companion and the built in routines makes it hard sometimes to be home. People will say, she was just a cat but she was family and the perfect fit to our small family. Add to that the expected delays to certain professional changes and other bombshells, yeah, let’s bring on March and see what it has to offer.
Total Lunar eclipse March 3 – This is going to be a big one, apparently it’s also a blood moon lunar eclipse and should actually be visible in my part of Canada – depending on the weather of course. 3:04 AM, yeah, I’ll be awake.
Diving into a sociology/religion seminar, should be interesting. A bite size course to help fuel personal interests.
Spring equinox March 20 – Already, the flowers are coming out, the cherry/apple/plum blossoms are raining down as the wind continues to keep it cold but clear blue skies prevail. Looking forward to it warming up and getting back out for early morning walks before the chaos of the day starts.
Looking forward to brighter days ahead.
Waning
The day is brisk, clear blue fading to shades of pink and purple as the night creeps in
Cold stars shine brightly, the moon their waning companion
Taking with it dark energy, hurt, sadness
As the cycle continues, the loss and sorrow will still be here
But the healing will start, not moving on but moving forward
Never forgotten, never erased but always in the heart and in memories
